Why We’re OPEN:

After assessing the risks posed by the coronavirus crisis, we’ve concluded it is much more important for the health, safety and well-being of our clients for Pro-Active Chiropractic and Wellnessc to remain open for business.

While our practice is very busy, we rarely have more than 10 people in our office at any time to keep the risk of infection very low.

We believe it's much more important for our clients to maintain their schedule of regular chiropractic care during this crisis, enabling you to maintain, improve and increase immune system function, which is your greatest defense against ALL sickness, disease and infection. In other words, in a health crisis such as this, you need chiropractic care now more than ever.

Historical data regarding the 1918 flu pandemic shows that people under chiropractic care had a 98% higher survival rate (

A three-year study conducted by Dr. Ronald Pero, then chief of cancer prevention at New York’s Preventive Medicine Institute concluded that the 107 patients under long-term chiropractic care had a 200% greater immune competence than people who had not received chiropractic care.

Dr. Pero said, “I have never seen a group other than this chiropractic group experience a 200% increase over the normal patients.” The study demonstrated that the cells responsible for engulfing and destroying viruses, bacteria, parasites and cancer cells are anywhere from 2-4 times more active in people who get regular chiropractic care ("Medical Researcher Excited By CBSRF Project Results." The Chiropractic Journal, August 1989; 32).

In addition to regular chiropractic care, other steps you can take to immediately fortify your immune system are:

  • Drink plenty of water (at least eight 8 oz. glasses of water daily)
  • Take 1000-3000 grams of vitamin C per day
  • Take 5000-10000 I.U. of vitamin D3 daily
  • Take 400-500 mg of magnesium daily
  • Actively de-stress daily utilizing meditation and turning off the news, etc.

We believe the fear of this crisis is far more destructive to our health than the actual virus, so please focus on what you can do to improve your overall and immune health.

It's our intent to conduct business as usual while implementing CDC guidelines, and to serve you to the best of our ability until things return to normal. We're also following the Governor’s executive orders, and staying up-to-date on changes as new phase roll out.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Much love and appreciation,
Dr. Ken Murkowski II
